Clean guest rooms and beach houses as assigned, ensuring to meet and exceed the hotel's established standards of cleanliness. Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints. Ensures the confidentiality of our guests and security of all guest rooms.
Contribute to building and maintaining a first-rate team.
Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests throughout stay.
Maintain knowledge of the hotels and all its features, daily activities and operations.
Provide daily service to the assigned guest rooms and departure rooms.
Provide daily service to the two offsite Beach Houses.
Cleaning of public spaces including lobby, fitness area and restrooms, and outdoor space.
Cleaning of back of house area, including laundry, storage and employee area.
Iron and/or steaming of guest clothing when requested.
Receive, sort and store all clean delivered linen, terry, and robes.
Receive and restock cleaning supplies, caddies and storage room at end of shift.
Update room status to Manager on Duty.
Report any damages, maintenance problems or safety hazards to the Chief Engineer.
Responsible for returning smartphone and assigned guest room keys.
Responsible for operating hotel equipment in safe manner.
Responsible for safe handling of chemicals in accordance with hotel standards and OSHA.
Must follow all Covid 19 cleaning and safety protocols, and utilizes PPE as directed.
Turn over any lost and found items to the Manager on Duty or Director of Guest Relations.
Comply with hotel and departmental rules, regulations and policies the hotel.
Attend and participate in all hotel departmental meetings and training sessions.
Regular, punctual attendance required and ability to work AM, PM, weekend and holidays.
Comply with hotel grooming standards.
Comply with hotel service and behavioral standards towards our guests, vendors and staff.
Able to exert physical effort of transporting linen, supplies and furniture to designated area, bending, walking, standing, reaching and pulling/pushing.
Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors with exposure to sun, dust, sand,
Perform all other duties as directed by management that are consistent with the policies and procedures of the hotel.
One to two years of cleaning experience within a four-star hotel or private residence.
Able to a computer and company cell phones.
Able to read and speak in English to understand and respond to guests.
Must be customer service oriented, have excellent hospitality skills, works well with others.
High school diploma or equivalent training required.
